Little Apps has been active since 2008 and our first software program that was released was Little Alarm Clock. Little Apps has since released 6 software programs (Little Registry Cleaner, Little Registry Optimizer, Little Disk Cleaner, Little Privacy Cleaner, Little Software Stats, and Little URL Shortener), as well as a few miscellaneous scripts.

Today, Little Apps is opening a new chapter. First, we are changing our logo to something that is more unique and not just a yellow circle with red text. This logo was created by the very creative people at LogoNerds. The new logo better represents what Little Apps is about and will help build the Little Apps name.

Second, Little Apps is releasing a new software program called Little System Cleaner. Little System Cleaner has been in the works since about March, 2014 and was announced in this blog post. Little System Cleaner is a registry cleaner, registry optimizer, disk cleaner, privacy cleaner, duplicate finder, startup manager, and uninstall manager all in one. Little System Cleaner is developed with C# and WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), and is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.

Little Apps has been moving away from Launchpad and as with other projects, the source code for Little System Cleaner is hosted on GitHub. Because Little Registry Cleaner, Little Registry Optimizer, Little Disk Cleaner, and Little Privacy Cleaner have been merged with Little System Cleaner, the development of these projects will be slowed but not fully stopped. Anyone who wishes to help continue with the development of these projects can contact Little Apps to find out how.

Little System Cleaner can be downloaded from the Little Apps mirror or from SourceForge. This is the first release of Little System Cleaner and it is still in the beta stage. Therefore, Little System Cleaner may not work 100% and you may come across bugs. You can check to see if a bug is reported or report a bug on the bug tracker.

Third, there will now be a Little Apps forum. This forum will allow you to discuss the Little Apps software including ideas and problems you (and other users) may be having with the software. Before posting on the forum, please make sure you look at the rules first. The forum is also responsive so you can look at it on your smartphone or tablet as well.

This year will sure to be another chapter with many things planned. Development has been started on a disk defragmenter written only in C#. Little Apps is working on a new template for Little Software Stats. Since the forum is responsive, Little Apps will be working on making the whole website responsive as well. That’s just a few of the things that are planned. Little Apps would also like to wish everyone a happy new year and all the best in 2015!
