Scan Comparison

I have done a fresh install of Microsoft Windows Vista installed. I ran the registry cleaner on both programs. I did not run the privacy cleaner nor anything else because this to compare “registry cleaning”.

Registry Cleaner Time 8 seconds 11 seconds
Registry Cleaner Problems 16 126

I should also note the system specifications that these tests were ran on

  • Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
  • Intel Core i7 950 @ 3.07Ghz
  • 1GB RAM
  • 25GB SATA Hard Drive
  • Installed Software:
    • Oracle VM VirtualBox Guest Additions v4.1.14
    • Microsoft .NET Framework v4
Bottom Line

I think the bottom line about these results is that, like all software, they all have different algorithms and they will all give different results. Another thing you should note is “clean” does not mean “faster”. For example, if you buy a new pair of shoes will that make you run faster? I’d think not (unless they’re the kind that turn into rollerblades, which technically aren’t shoes). Hopefully you get my point.
