I have some very good news to share with everyone (especially software developers). An update for Little Software Stats has finally been released. Some probably were starting to wondering about the future of Little Software Stats, as it’s been quite a while since any update has been released (which there hasn’t been any update until now). I’ve been busy with other things and have been meaning to make time to update Little Software, but didn’t until now.
Little Apps has been active since 2008 and our first software program that was released was Little Alarm Clock. Little Apps has since released 6 software programs (Little Registry Cleaner, Little Registry Optimizer, Little Disk Cleaner, Little Privacy Cleaner, Little Software Stats, and Little URL Shortener), as well as a few miscellaneous scripts.
I’d like to take this time to talk about a new project I have started (and no, it’s not a baby). I have been working on it for a while but never had the time to get it to where it is now. The project is called “Little System Cleaner”. What it is (going to be) is Little Registry Cleaner, Little Registry Optimizer, Little Privacy Cleaner, and Little Disk Cleaner all bundled into one program. It is being programmed in C# and uses WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) for the user interface.
Today, Little Apps is releasing an update for the ever so popular Little Registry Cleaner. Since the first release back in 2008, Little Registry Cleaner has become a top choice for speeding up Windows computers. Little Registry Cleaner has also gained notable reviews by companies such as CNET, PC Magazine, and PC Utilities.
I haven’t been busy lately so I thought this would give me some time to work on another project. This time the project was a link shortener which was coded in PHP and MySQL. The “Little URL Shortener” is all custom coded (except for a few parts) and the design comes straight from a PSD (which I have permission to use). All of my projects are open source, so of course this one is too. This time I have the code hosted on GitHub instead of Launchpad.
Your probably on Facebook or Twitter today finding all these amazing things that you think are true, but you look at the calendar and remember “Oh yeah, it’s April Fools Day so none of this is true”.
Back in April, we said that we were working on a new software program called “Little Software Stats”. Today, Little Apps is proud to announce the first release of Little Software Stats. This release is version 0.1 and we have codenamed it “Diamond”. Little Software Stats allows software developers to keep track of how their software is being used. This is the first run-time intelligence software to be released as free and open source.
I was very skeptical when I heard that the world is suppose to end on December 21, 2012. In case your wondering where this theory came from, it was thought up by the Mayans thousands of years ago.
Lately, I have been getting lots of feedback from our users about other software that is installed with our products. I want to be honest with our users so I have included why this software is included, how this software is installed on your computer and how to remove it.
As many of you have probably noticed, our website is now viewable in 17 different languages. Since Little Registry Cleaner is multilingual, we thought our website should be too. Unlike other websites that just use Google or Bing to automatically translate their website, our website is translated using real people so you can actually understand what your reading.
